About the Liminal Minds Initiative

LMI is an Austrian, Vienna-based, youth-led research and advocacy non-profit, affiliated through the UN Major Group for Children and Youth and the UN NGO Major Group.

Our subject is liminality: the friction young people experience when they cross borders and leave one cultural and legal system before they are part of the next.

We work in three branches — research, advocacy, and a network of mentors, partner schools, NGOs and embassies.
