The Liminality Index (Lx)

The Index expresses how stressors and supports balance out for a multi-local young person, weighted by cohort type and age bracket.

Inputs are displacement strain, institutional friction, social capital, and prior resilience. Support terms enter inverted, so higher support lowers indicated friction.

Outputs are descriptive analytical indicators, not validated measurements and not assessments of any individual.
