What the policy indices cover

Every published Liminality Index reading is set against six policy measures — MIPEX, IMPIC, the IOM Migration Governance Indicators, UN SDG indicator 10.7.2, the DEMIG/QuantMig policy database and the IMPALA pilot. None of them covers every country.

For each country: the policy score each index records, the DEMIG/QuantMig direction of policy change, a profile where the index assesses without scoring, the SDG 10.7.2 rating each government reports to the UN, IMPALA's pilot readings for each route in — work, family, asylum — or “not covered” where a country lies outside an index's sample, and how far the indices agree where they overlap.
